Multi-Grammy winner Mary J Blige has just announced that she is working on a Christmas album with some of her famous friends. The R&B singer recently wrapped up filming for a Christmas movie called ‘Black Nativity’ so her new Christmas offering makes complete sense given that she was already in the festive mood. Among her collaborators on ‘Mary Christmas’ will include Jennifer Lopez, Barbara Streisand (for ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’) and Marc Anthony. Blige is no stranger to Christmas songs having contributed ‘Christmas In The City’ to the charity album ‘A Very Special Christmas 3’ in 1997. She also sang ‘What Child Is This?’ with Andrea Bocelli on his ‘My Christmas’ album 2 years later as well as joining Rod Stewart on ‘We Three Kings’ on his Christmas album in 2012.
